VALORANT Champions 2025 is almost here, with 16 of the world’s best VALORANT teams competing for a $2.25m (~£1.66m) prize pool in Paris. For bettors, this year’s tournament presents one of the most unpredictable betting landscapes yet.

Group B features four very different squads—Bilibili Gaming (BLG), Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ), Fnatic, and MIBR—all with inconsistent results in 2025. This makes Group B one of the hardest to predict, but also one of the most exciting for finding value bets and upset opportunities.

Bilibili Gaming (BLG): The Risky Favorite

  • Projected Odds to Win Group B: +150 (2.50)

  • Odds to Advance: -200 (1.50)

BLG comes in as the highest seed, fresh off a VCT China Stage 2 championship, but their inconsistency is the key concern for bettors. Known for explosive play led by Wang “whz” Haozhe, BLG struggled with its new macro-heavy style earlier in the year, falling to 9th-10th at Masters Toronto.

They’ve since balanced chaos with structure, making them dangerous but unpredictable. Against MIBR on Sept 15th, BLG will likely be a favorite (-180 to -200 range), but bettors should be cautious: BLG is the type of team that either sweeps or implodes.

Best Bet: BLG outright group winner offers decent returns at +150 but carries volatility risk.

Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ): The Value Underdog

  • Projected Odds to Win Group B: +275 (3.75)

  • Odds to Advance: +110 (2.10)

RRQ has had a rollercoaster season, largely due to the meta surrounding Tejo. After being exposed at Masters Toronto following Tejo’s nerf, RRQ rebuilt its identity in Stage 2 with double-duelist comps around Waylay and creative map-specific strategies.

Their opening match vs. Fnatic on Sept 15th is close to a pick’em, with Fnatic likely slight favorites (-135 Fnatic / +110 RRQ). Bettors looking for value may find RRQ to be a strong upset candidate in both map and series markets.

Best Bet: RRQ +1.5 map handicap against Fnatic is a smart value play.

Fnatic: The Legacy Pick

  • Projected Odds to Win Group B: +200 (3.00)

  • Odds to Advance: -175 (1.57)

Fnatic remains one of the most iconic VALORANT teams, qualifying for every Champions to date. Despite an early exit in Stage 2 playoffs, they showed resilience with a finals run at Masters Toronto and still boast elite leadership under Jake “Boaster” Howlett.

However, losing Icebox from the map pool hurts their edge, and back-to-back losses to BBL and GIANTX highlight their declining dominance. Even so, their experience makes them the safest bet to get out of groups.

Best Bet: Fnatic to advance (-175) offers a solid parlay piece for conservative bettors.

MIBR: The Wildcard

  • Projected Odds to Win Group B: +500 (6.00)

  • Odds to Advance: +250 (3.50)

MIBR, powered by Erick “aspas” Santos, had a strong start to 2025 before being derailed by the shifting meta. Their reliance on Yoru double-duelist comps has been hit-or-miss, and they only reached Champions thanks to VCT Points and KRÜ’s early playoff exit.

That said, their aggression and volatility make them dangerous for live bettors. Aspas has been adapting well to his new role, and if he peaks in Paris, MIBR could pull off an upset against BLG or RRQ.

Best Bet: Look for in-play value on MIBR when they start maps strong—momentum swings often favor their high-risk playstyle.

Group B Betting Outlook

  • Safest Bet: Fnatic to advance (-175).

  • Best Value Bet: RRQ to advance (+110) or RRQ +1.5 maps vs Fnatic.

  • High-Risk Play: BLG to win the group (+150) despite volatility.

  • Dark Horse Longshot: MIBR outright group winner at +500.

Group B is arguably the most balanced of Champions 2025, meaning anyone can advance. For bettors, this volatility creates opportunities: play it safe with Fnatic, chase value with RRQ, or roll the dice on MIBR for a big payout.

Catch all the action starting September 12th on VCT’s Twitch and YouTube channels, with Group B matches beginning September 15th.
